Handsdrop for Non-Shopify Users: Complete Setup Guide

Handsdrop was originally built with Shopify merchants in mind, but many sellers run their stores elsewhere, on Etsy, Amazon, or other platforms and independent sites. For those sellers, we offer a separate way to connect with us. You can still get orders produced and shipped worldwide. This guide walks through the process.

1. Who this guide is for

Sellers on Etsy who offer handmade or custom-made products. Sellers on Amazon running handmade, home goods, or gift stores. Sellers on other platforms such as TikTok Shop or eBay. Merchants who run an independent website that is not built on Shopify.

If any of these describe your store, you can use the process below to work with Handsdrop.

2. How to integrate: contact support and place orders on our order page

For non-Shopify sellers, the current process is to place orders manually through our support team:

Step one, contact customer service. Let us know which platform you sell on, what types of products you offer, and your approximate order volume. Our team will confirm the setup with you based on these details.

Step two, go to the order page at https://giftstore.shopawapp.com/ and follow the instructions from customer service to complete your order. Product information, buyer shipping address, and custom requirements are all submitted here.

Step three, after the order is submitted, Handsdrop handles production and international shipping. You can check production progress and shipment tracking on the order page.

3. Information to prepare before placing an order

To keep the process smooth, we recommend preparing the following information before you place an order:

Product information first, including the product name, specifications, custom requirements, and any relevant reference images. The buyer's shipping address next, which should be complete and accurate, with country, city, postal code, and phone number. Order notes last, such as special packaging requirements or timing expectations. The more complete the information, the faster our team and our makers can move.

4. Integration methods coming soon

The current manual process works well for sellers with moderate order volume. For sellers with higher volume, we are developing more efficient integration options:

The first is bulk order import via Excel or CSV. You will be able to upload a single file containing multiple orders at once, which is better suited for sellers processing orders every day.

The second is manual order creation directly on the order page. Sellers will be able to enter their own order details without needing to contact customer service for each one.

Both methods will be announced on the platform once they launch. You can also ask customer service to put you on an early access list, and we will get you set up as soon as they are available.

5. FAQ

Are product costs the same for non-Shopify sellers and Shopify sellers?

Product costs are calculated per order, and the overall pricing rules are the same for all sellers who integrate with us. You can confirm specific pricing with customer service.

Can my store's own packaging and labels be used?

Some products support custom packaging or additional labeling. Whether this is possible depends on the product type and order quantity, so please check with customer service.

Where does the order ship from?

Handsdrop ships from our warehouse in China. Tracking numbers and shipping information appear on the order page and can be passed on to your buyer.
