Handsdrop Shipping Guide: Methods, Costs & Delivery Times
Before placing an order, most buyers want to confirm two things: how much shipping costs and how long it will take. This guide explains how Handsdrop ships its products, how shipping information is displayed, and what affects the total delivery time.
1. Where orders ship from
All items on Handsdrop are handmade in China. Once an order is placed, the Artisan begins production, then packs and ships the finished piece internationally to the buyer's address. Because of this, the total wait time has two parts: production time and international shipping time. Both are covered below.
2. How shipping rates and times are displayed
Default view: shipping to the US
On any product page, the shipping cost and estimated delivery time to the United States are shown by default, directly below the product price. Since most orders on the platform are placed from the US, this default allows the majority of buyers to see the information relevant to them without additional steps.

Other countries: click to view the popup
If your shipping address is outside the US, click the shipping information area on the product page. A popup will open listing shipping rates and estimated delivery times for other countries and regions. Locate your country in the list to see the information that applies to you.
If your country is not listed, shipping to that region may not currently be available. In that case, please contact customer service to confirm whether delivery can be arranged.

3. What makes up the delivery time
Delivery time is not a fixed number. It is made up of two components:
Production time. This depends on the complexity of the piece and is set by the maker. Estimated production time is usually noted on the product page, and it can vary between different items and different makers.
International shipping time. This is the time from dispatch in China to arrival at the buyer's address. Delivery to the US is generally the quickest, while deliveries to Europe and Australia take somewhat longer. Remote areas may take additional days. The estimates shown in the product page popup should be treated as the reference.
After an order is placed, production updates and the tracking number will be available on the order page.
4. A few things to keep in mind
First, the information shown on the product page is authoritative. The shipping rates and delivery estimates listed there apply to that specific product, and other references should be treated as approximate.
Second, buyers outside the US should check the popup to find the rates and times for their own country.
Third, if delivery timing matters to you, add the production time and the shipping time together before ordering to estimate the total wait.
Fourth, customs clearance on international shipments can occasionally cause minor delays. This is a normal part of cross-border logistics, and customer service can check the latest status if needed.
